On paper, whole grains appear to be a fairly good source of many important mineral such as iron, zinc, copper, and calcium. Actually, cereals are LOUSY sources of these nutritionally important minerals.

Challenge of the Day: Take a serious look (or google) the vitamins and minerals found in the vegetables you eat on a daily basis vs. the calorically defeicient grains that you no longer eat.
